With sixteen vessels and the best dock location in the City, it is hard to argue that there is a better alternative to getting to the Toronto Islands than by an Otter Guy water taxi. Conveniently located at the foot of Yonge St., our fleet runs from May 1st until October 1st from 9 am until 1 am seven days a week.
Our highly trained deck hands will help you on and off our vessels with strollers, bikes and picnic accessories. An adjacent parking lot allows your vehicles to unload and load easily. We accept debit and credit cards, cash and a variety of currencies. Our onsite large maps and knowledgeable staff will help get you where you need to go quickly and comfortably whether you’re going to the clothing optional beach, amusement park or for a stroll through the Island community. The Otter Guy is like no other!
Our prices reflect the rates that all members of the Toronto Water Taxi Association charge. $10 for adults, $5 for children (ages 12 and under) and infants (1-year old or less) for free. All prices include HST. While we prefer cash at our dock for expediency purposes, we also accept debit and credit cards. (A small service fee applies to all plastic forms of payment as our queues are negatively impacted by electronic forms of payment). Our standard destinations are Ward’s island, Hanlon’s Point and Centre Island. We also service Artscape Gibraltor Point, Ontario Place, Humber Bay and some yacht clubs at an additional rate.
